About Us
The Department of Nursing at Alanya University's Faculty of Health Sciences has begun accepting students for the 2025-2026 academic year. Our four-year undergraduate program, based on secondary education, offers formal education.
Our nursing education program is grounded in the nursing theory of self-care deficiency. In this context, we embrace a framework focused on people, based on caring and compassion, rather than illness, with the understanding that "Nursing is an art, the art of helping. The nurse helps individuals who are unable to self-care regain it." Nursing education, which includes courses in behavioral, social, and basic medical sciences, along with nursing science courses, focuses on the development of nursing competence and prepares students to design innovative nursing systems for individuals, families, and communities with complex health conditions in various settings.
Students who successfully complete the four-year undergraduate program and graduate with the title "Nurse" will be able to work in all institutions and organizations providing preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative healthcare services.
