From the Head of Department
Dear Students,
Nursing is an art, the art of helping. The art of nursing is based on human service based on the science of nursing. A nurse helps individuals who are unable to care for themselves achieve self-care. Nursing is a human-to-human experience based on caring and compassion. Therefore, our program is designed to develop an understanding of people, the environment they influence and are influenced by, health, and nursing. The program's goal is to develop the personal and professional identity necessary to fulfill the nursing role. To achieve our goals, we believe that our educational process must be student-centered, innovative, and engaging, fostering shared experiences and providing students and teachers with the opportunity to learn from and together with each other. Collaborating with instructors and each other in classrooms, laboratories, and practice areas will facilitate your acquisition of the knowledge, skills, and personal insights that will form the foundation of your practice. Four years later, working in various fields, you will experience the indescribable joy of caring, a universal quality inherent in human nature.
I sincerely greet you, the nurses of the future, congratulate you on your decision to become a nurse, and wish you success in your education.
